Difference Exchange
In recent years, there has been a growth of artists’ residency programmes internationally in a variety of contexts, within and outside of arts organisations. Difference Exchange seeks to draw on the knowledge from the best of these and develop a sustainable approach to new artists’ placements using difference as a value-enhancing strategy – where difference may be culturally, socially, geographically or professionally defined. We are particularly interested in working with researchers, academics, business people and artists who thrive in the interstitial spaces between art, industry and academia.
